Challenges

Added to challenges deriving from an EPC Project, the performances of the involved facilities are strongly impacted people working in the buildings. Their comfort has to be guaranteed all along the year no matter the season and the working shifts. Human comfort implies the management of the lighting and heating/ventilation SLAs (Service Level Agreement) in order not to affect their operations.

Ouvert’s Contribution

Ouvert has taken charge of setting up the Energy Data Management Layer and the M&V System. Team Ouvert is composed of Energy Data Scientists and Engineers all together operating from Ouvert Service Center base in Rome and utilizing the proprietary Energy Intelligence SW Platform commercially identified by the trademark ARS. ARS implements the automation layer needed to guarantee the acquisition and processing of data related to the energy vectors used to run the business, operate and insure the proper level of comfort to people. ARS is also able to interact with SMART NETWORKS meaning it is able to actuate and engage actuators in field to:

1. guarantee facilities are livable as expected for the workers and visitors
2. sustainability and consumptions are managed and continuously improved
3. energy costs are controlled and overall performances are kept monitored
